Pre-Legal Recovery

Let’s face it; sometimes accounts simply fall through the cracks. Whether it’s due to an on-again-off-again payment history, or simply a delinquent customers taking advantage of your busy schedule, creditors occasionally find themselves faced with the challenge of collecting on accounts that have aged out over one year from date of sale. Unfortunately, by the time an open receivable ages beyond 360 days, the overall odds of in-house recovery decreases by over 80%.

This RCM Pre-Legal Recovery Program is designed to be the last step prior to collection litigation. The primary goal of this short-burst program is to eliminate the need for litigation altogether by securing a commitment from your delinquent customer. Absent that, the primary goal becomes to evaluate the viability of litigation as the final means of collection. To this end, the program tactics include:

  1. Business location verification and/or skip tracing
  2. Asset & liability investigations conducted by a licensed, bonded, and credit trained private investigation firm
  3. Public records searches to attempt asset identification
  4. Corporate records searches
  5. Business owner/officer summary profiles
  6. Viability profile of business created
  7. Viability of suit determination and suit preparation made by RCM Legal Management Division.
